Reserving an Available Puppy:

 

    If you would like to reserve one of our currently available Australian Shepherd or Miniature American Shepherd puppies, a $500 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your puppy until their scheduled pickup date. The remaining balance must be paid in full before the puppy leaves Copper Sky. Venmo payments must be received at least three days before pickup/transportation. Zelle or cash may be paid at pickup. (Deposits are transferable)

Waitlist for Future Litters:

 

     ***Copper Sky reserves the right to retain first pick from any litter.

If you're not quite ready for a puppy yet, or are waiting for a future litter, a $200 non-refundable Reservation Deposit will reserve your position on our list. Your deposit is applied toward the purchase price of your future puppy and may be transferred to a future litter if you decide the timing or available puppies aren't right for you.

A reservation secures your position on our list but cannot guarantee a particular litter, puppy, sex, color, markings, eye color, adult size or temperament...Mother Nature still gets the final say on those things! 😊

Once puppies are born and you decide to move forward with an available litter or puppy, an additional $300 Puppy Deposit is required. We have done it this way for a long time, and our puppy families seem to like it because it helps "break up the price" a little bit.

Going Home:

 

     Puppies are typically ready to leave for their new homes at 8 weeks of age, depending on their individual development. On occasion we may hold a puppy up to 10 weeks of age if on the smaller side.

 

    Again, the remaining balance must be paid in full before the puppy leaves Copper Sky. Venmo payments must be received at least three days before pickup or transportation; Zelle or cash may be paid at pickup.

 

Transportation Options:

 

     We offer several flexible options to help your new puppy travel safely to their forever home.

          📌Airport Pickup: We can meet you at the airport for an easy handoff. Most airlines charge a carry-on pet                    fee of $100–$125 if you plan to fly home with your puppy. We have 2 airport options for you: DCA, & RIC.

 

         📌Flight Nanny Service: We use a wonderful professional flight nanny service that can personally deliver                       your puppy to you. Prices generally range between $400–$800 within the continental U.S., depending on                    flight availability and the time of year.

       

        📌 In Person Pickup/Ground Transportation: We’re always happy to have you come pick up your puppy in                     person, in fact we prefer it, or we can discuss alternative ground transport options if needed! We’re always                willing to meet within 2 hours of our home at no additional cost. For distances beyond that, we’re happy to                  discuss the best options and work out a reasonable transportation fee based on the distance. Our goal is to                make bringing your new pup home as smooth and convenient as possible!

      We ask that all puppies be picked up or have travel arranged within seven (7) days of their scheduled go-home date. If additional time is required, a boarding fee of $30 per day will apply, and payment must be made in advance.
