Sometimes the perfect dog simply isn't the perfect fit for a particular home.
"DAISY" (--Story x Coda--"Fate") is looking for a new forever family through absolutely no fault of her own. Her family loves her dearly, and this has been an incredibly difficult decision. As their senior dog has gotten older and developed arthritis, she no longer enjoys the constant play that Daisy craves. Daisy is a young, energetic Australian Shepherd who would happily spend hours playing with another dog, and despite careful management, the older dog's patience has understandably worn thin.
Rather than continue to keep the dogs separated or risk either dog becoming injured, her family made the selfless decision to let Daisy find a home where she can truly thrive.
💕 About Daisy:
• 7 months old/female/Australian Shepherd/30 lbs (will be about 35 full grown, no more than 40).
• Sweet, affectionate, and loves her people.
• Fun, silly personality ("Crazy Daisy" definitely fits!).
• Crate trained.
• Doing very well with house training (currently lives in an apartment and has had an accident here and there)
• Not yet spayed, but she will need to be.
🏡 Daisy's ideal home:
• An active family that understands the needs of Aussies.
• Another young, playful dog would likely be a huge bonus, or an active family committed to giving her plenty of exercise and enrichment.
• Another dog that she can play with would be fantastic. She really likes to have friend.
As always, I will be very selective about where she goes. My responsibility doesn't end when my puppies leave, it lasts their entire lives.
