Our puppies are Registered with AKC and/or ASCA and sold with limited registration (as a companion/pet)

We do not sell puppies with breeding rights. 

 

• Our puppies are vaccinated at 4 weeks with NeoPar Parvo Only. 

• They are vaccinated again at 7 weeks of age with with DA2PP. 

• They are de-wormed with safeguard at 2, 4 and 7 weeks of age. 

• Our puppies are raised in our home and handled daily.

• Tails docked and dewclaws removed

 

Our new puppy owners will receive the following:

• Puppy Health Record

• AKC & or ASCA Registration Application

•  Genetic Health Guarantee (please read about our pet food requirement)

• A folder with all their information and health records

 (we ask that you pre-order the food so it is there when you take them home.  A sample will be provided if needed)

 

Lifelong Breeder Support:

Choosing a Copper Sky Aussie or Mini American doesn't just end when you get home with your new puppy!

We offer lifelong support and LOVE updates! What does lifelong breeder support mean? Once you choose one of our babies, you join our family. You can always count on us to share our knowledge, be an ear to share your concerns, and help provide training tips.

We are also always willing to accept any of our dogs back if life doesn't go as planned.

Puppy Care:

We recommend that you have your puppy examined by your veterinarian as soon as possible. We will give you some guidelines for health care that is established for us by our veterinarian but realize that medicine is constantly changing and your veterinarian may suggest some variation from our protocols depending on where you live and what you intend to do with your dog in the future. All of the puppies have been de-wormed for roundworms and hookworms every two weeks beginning at 2 weeks of age. Their mother is de-wormed at the same time.

We recommend vaccinating for distemper, parvo virus, adenovirus and parainfluenza at approximately 7, 11 and 15 weeks of age. It is best to also vaccinate for bordatella, (a contagious upper respiratory infection), during puppy-hood.

Additional vaccines, such as leptospirosis, lyme, rattlesnake, etc., should be discussed with your veterinarian. Their use should be based on exposure and multiple types of vaccines should not be given together, especially in puppies. Vaccines cause a strong immune system stimulation and need to be evaluated carefully for each individual animal based on their life style and exposure risk.

We strongly recommend monthly heart worm protection for all dogs.

We use Interceptor on our dogs for heartworm protection and Frontline Plus for fleas/ticks.

Please discuss this important protection with your veterinarian.

Shipping Your Puppy:

We do not ship our puppies in cargo! We HIGHLY recommend flying in to pick up your puppy in person. 

We will always meet you at the airport if need be.

On occasion we can fly your puppy to you if timing works out with our schedules (This is done at buyers expense).
