Reserving an Available Puppy:

 

       If you would like to claim one of our currently available Aussie or Mini American Shepherd puppies, there is a $500 non-refundable deposit required until they are ready to go for pickup. The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 3 days in advance if using venmo OR you have the option of using Zelle or in cash at the time of pickup. (Deposits are transferable)

Waitlist for Future Litters:

 

      Copper Sky always retains first right pick from any litter.

 

      If you’d like early selection from our upcoming Australian Shepherd or Mini American Shepherd puppies, you can join our waitlist. A $200 non-refundable waitlist fee is required, which will be applied to your puppy’s final purchase price. When puppies are born, some may be available right away, while others will not be chosen until after six weeks of age to allow for temperament and/or evaluations. Once puppies are born and you pick your specific puppy, there is a $300 deposit to hold that specific puppy. We have done it this way for a long time, and our puppy families seem to like it because it helps "break up the price" a little bit.

 

     We acknowledge color preferences but cannot guarantee a specific coat color.

Going Home:

 

     Puppies are typically ready to leave for their new homes at 8 weeks of age, depending on their individual development. On occasion we may hold a puppy up to 10 weeks of age if on the smaller side.

 

    Again, the full payment for your puppy must be cleared three days before transportation or paid in cash at pickup.

Transportation Options:

 

     We offer several flexible options to help your new puppy travel safely to their forever home.

​

          📌Airport Pickup: We can meet you at the airport for an easy handoff. Most airlines charge a carry-on pet                    fee of $100–$125 if you plan to fly home with your puppy. We have 3 airport options for you: IAD, DCA, & RIC.

 

         📌Flight Nanny Service: We use a wonderful professional flight nanny service that can personally deliver                       your puppy to you. Prices generally range between $500–$800 within the continental U.S., depending on                    flight availability and the time of year.

       

        📌 In Person Pickup/Ground Transportation: We’re always happy to have you come pick up your puppy in                     person, in fact we prefer it, or we can discuss alternative ground transport options if needed! We’re always                willing to meet within 2 hour of our home at no additional cost. For distances beyond that, we’re happy to                  discuss the best options and work out a reasonable transportation fee based on the distance. Our goal is to                make bringing your new pup home as smooth and convenient as possible!

      We ask that all puppies be picked up or have travel arranged within seven (7) days of their scheduled go-home date. If additional time is required, a boarding fee of $30 per day will apply, and payment must be made in advance.
